Wandering in the fields, suddenly found a gold nugget weighing 1.4kg

While wandering in the salt fields in Western Australia, a man was lucky to find a 1.4kg gold nugget, estimated to cost about 100,000 AUD (equivalent to more than 1.6 billion VND).

The unnamed man couldn’t believe his luck when his metal detector discovered a 1.4kg nugget while searching for gold in the Goldfields-Esperance region of Western Australia.

Then he sold the gold he dug to a shop in the city of Kalgoorlie. And the shop owner posted a picture of this gold nugget on Facebook last week.

Shop owner Matt Cook told The Daily Mail the “huge” gold nugget was found while the other man was wandering the salt fields in Western Australia a few weeks ago.

The Goldfields area has long been known as the gold mine of Western Australia, where people still regularly dig for gold.

Every year, up to several times people find large gold nuggets. These nuggets often require heavy machinery to detect.
