Images of a chicken egg with a green yolk are causing a fever in the online community in India.
At first glance, everyone thinks that the above series of photos are “cheating love”, because today the 4.0 era is on the throne, why don’t people photoshop to “like” sentences? However, according to Odditycentral, Ak Shihabudheen – a chicken farmer from Malappuram, Kerala state, India has confirmed that the eggs were laid from chickens on his farm. To prove that statement, the young farmer himself filmed a clip of breaking an egg and then trying to boil one and revealing the dark green inside.
The clip proves that the chicken egg from his farm is real by an Indian farmer.
After that, information about this strange thing quickly spread throughout India. Even Manorama MAX – a famous TikTok account in this country also came to make a video recording each and every scene of this kind of egg. Posted on May 11, it has so far garnered nearly 1 million views and 90.5k likes.
Ak Shihabudheen told Odditycentral that he first discovered an egg from his farm with the yolk turning green nine months ago. At first, the family was surprised and decided to keep, not sell, the eggs still hatched. Some of the 6 chicks that hatched from strange eggs have started laying new litters and, oddly enough, they are green too!
These eggs are still boiled and eaten by farmers normally.
Ak Shihabudheen added that his whole family ate boiled eggs normally and did not show any strange symptoms. The taste of these eggs is exactly the same as the normal one, there is no difference.
Experts from Kerala University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences went to the farmer’s farm to witness the chickens laying strange eggs and take samples for laboratory analysis. Dr. Sankaralingam said: “We started to do a few tests to find out the reason behind this rare event. It is a rare phenomenon. The cause is likely to be from food for the family. hold”.
Currently, the reason for this has not been officially given. However, it is possible that the cause comes from the food source of the chickens at the Shihabudheen farm.
Shihabudheen added that his family often feeds chickens with rice or cakes derived from coconut oil. His family is also waiting for the final results from experts. Anyway, this story of chickens laying eggs with green yolks is still strange, isn’t it?
