But a new National Geographic documentary , shown on Thursday titled The Drain The Oceans , claims the plane is waiting to be discovered in the 386,000m2 seventh arc search area.
Drawing on data collected by hundreds of investigators, the documentary shows what the wreckage of MH370 might have looked like when it was found on the arc.
Last December, investigators thought an area stretching 25,000km at latitudes 32 to 36 degrees south was the right place to look for MH370.
CSIRO’s most recent research has strengthened scientists’ belief that this is where MH370 could be found.
The debris will hold important clues about what happened to MH370.
The US company Ocean Infinity used a deep-sea vessel to survey a large area in the southern Indian Ocean.
The National Geographic film also claims that M H370 spiraled out of the sky before crashing into the Indian Ocean. But MH370 truth seekers believe the plane may still be intact.
In August 2018, a new search for MH370 was launched after a Google Maps image taken from the jungle in Cambodia showed a jet of similar size.
