Indian mutants immune to bee venom

The Indian man almost feels no pain when stung by a bee and can comfortably play with thousands of bees.

Suk Mahammad Dalal , a professional honey harvester in India, can collect honey from beehives and freely play with them without wearing any protective equipment, MSN reported on January 18.

In the video, Dalal collects the bees with his hands and tucks them under his shirt to avoid them getting in the way while collecting honey. He even lifted them up to his face with his hands without showing any fear.

Dalal said he started doing the work about 15 years ago and is already immune to bee venom . He does not feel any pain when stung by a bee, although the stings sometimes leave small swellings around his lips. “I just need a cup of hot tea to recover from a burn ,” he said.

Dalal used to work as an assistant to a doctor in Kolkata but the salary was very low. During his work, he noticed that this doctor used a lot of honey in his medicines. “From a young age I was good at climbing. I saw beehives in a tree in Chingeni village in Bankura. So I returned home and became a honey harvester,” Dalal said.

Dalal said he started doing the work about 15 years ago and is already immune to bee venom.

The first time was quite scary for Dalal when the stings were painful and caused the limbs to swell. “Once I was stung by more than 300 bees until I lost consciousness. I wanted to go back to Kolkata to do my old job,” he shared.

However, Dalal persisted. Gradually, the pain disappeared and his limbs also stopped swelling. Dalal said that although he loves to play with the bees, he is careful not to injure them.
