The optimized space in the cabin will help passengers always have enough free space above their heads to enjoy comfortably. The luxury cabin for first class and business travelers has fewer seats, so it is not necessary to install a central storage compartment, making the space in this cabin much more spacious. In its blog post, Airbus says that the new design will accommodate 10 more seats than the traditional A330, but still maintain high standards of passenger comfort. So what made it possible for Airbus to introduce a new design on the A330neo Airspace without sacrificing that comfort? Changes that helped make the new design a reality include a dual washroom in the center of the cabin along with modular arrangement solutions that Airbus calls “Modular Space-Flex” , and PRM toilets ( Peope with Reduced Mobility – for the disabled) utilizes the space at the rear of the cabin to expand the space inside the main cabin.

The cabin for the cabin crew was moved to the lower compartment.

The final change is that on the A330neo, the cabin for the cabin crew has been moved to the lower deck (called the Lower Deck Mobile Crew Rest). According to Airbus, all of these changes will help enhance the comfort experience for passengers. The plane maker hopes that with the benefits it brings to both passengers and airlines, Airbus will be able to stay ahead of its competitors in the aircraft industry.
