Decipher the mystery of genius creativity

Differences in the brain can make some people more creative than most. And the good news is that there are ways to train a creative genius.

A new study published in the journal Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences has found out why some people are naturally creative, after scanning and comparing the brains of 163 volunteers.

The scientists found that in people who are thought to be creative geniuses, there is a stronger connection between three networks in the brain: the default network – related to imagination, daydreaming and thinking. single outburst; executive network – functions to control perception, memory, language; The third special network aims to filter and evaluate special and outstanding stimuli from life.

This difference is so obvious that through fMRI brain scans, scientists even accurately predict the creative thinking ability of each person in the study group.

Conversely, each time you try to let your brain run wild with your creativity, these three networks are also stimulated to become more active. If you live in an environment that is conducive to creativity, the links between these networks will also become stronger and stronger, making it easier for creativity to fly, and more effective.

The study’s lead author – Dr. Roger Beaty (Harvard University, USA) – said he is continuing to expand the study to better clarify a point to which the above results have led: it seems, the Being trained from a young age in the arts and sciences affects quite deeply the strong connections between these three neural networks and makes a person highly creative.

The above research is consistent with an earlier study by Jonathan Plucker (Indiana University, USA), which showed that a person’s creativity is more closely related to an environment that stimulates creativity in childhood than The person’s IQ.
