The correlation between signature size and personality is completely valid.

The study surveyed and sampled the signatures of students from 340 universities in Uruguay, including 192 women and 148 men. The results show that students with large signatures often have ambitions to climb up the social hierarchy.

Even more surprising, women with large signatures also exhibit narcissistic tendencies in their personalities.

Handwriting analysis has long been considered a “pseudoscience” by scientists. But for this study alone, the researchers claim that they used a completely different approach. They focused on analyzing signatures rather than generic handwriting; Measure the signature size by sketching the smallest polygon that can contain the signature. They also control for other variables, such as the number of letters appearing in the signature.

Finally, the study participants were asked to take a psychological personality test, as well as answer a few questions about themselves.
