BusinessInsider news site reported that American scientist Albert E. Mannes – also bald – conducted a study in 2012 with 59 subjects. He wanted to know how people reacted to bald men by showing them a series of pictures.
Subjects were shown each image twice, once of a man with a full head of hair, and once of the same man with his hair shaved. The subjects in the study later said they thought bald men were more influential, looked bigger (in terms of body size), and stronger.
One more interesting detail: those men must be completely hairless . People who are only partially bald are seen as less attractive and weaker.
