Research: "Gamblers" always accept the results when they win

A recent study shows differences in the attitudes of card players, specifically here on the outcome of the match. It sounds obvious because in a game there will always be winners and losers, but it is worth mentioning that the players will feel it is fair when they win.

Published in Science Advances, research has shown that winners of the red and black game often feel fair, while conversely, losers are not satisfied with the results. And there will be many questions that will arise as to whether this study is so obvious and everyone knows it? The answer is no.

Research: "Gamblers" always accept the results when they win
We always convince ourselves that we deserve good results, despite our pre-arranged priorities.

In this study, researchers created a game with a very special rule: the winner of the previous game can discard his own bad cards and take away the opponent’s good cards. When looking and, perhaps everyone can see that this is really an absurd rule, but the winners do not think so.

Up to 60% of the winners think that this is an extremely fair rule of the game and they often use skill to explain their victory . While only 30% of losers think it’s fair, and most of the rest of the losers don’t believe skill can help them win.

The researchers then changed the rules of the game to make it even more unfair. And the survey results are very interesting: the winners have to admit that the rules of the game are absurd.

In the report, the researchers drew on the results of research on games of chance to draw psychosocial conclusions: privileged, privileged individuals often believe that what they achieve is due to on your own hard work, not a pre-set priority.

Through this, it is interesting that in our minds, we always convince ourselves that we deserve good results, even though there are pre-arranged priorities. And what do you think about the above study and results?
