4-year-old British prodigy with high IQ in three languages

Mirror reports, a 4-year-old boy from the British city of Cheshunt has joined the community of people with high IQ because he knows three languages.

Accordingly, the boy named Izaak Miller can read and write on his own in English, Greek and Arabic, even though he is not of Greek or Arabic origin.

In addition, the boy memorized all 50 US states, knew how to count to ten in Spanish, and asked his parents for information about books in Russian.

According to the British publication, the boy’s reading skills are like that of a 7-10 year old child and his math skills are like that of a 6 and a half year old. He could even list all the planets in order of distance from the Sun. It is known that Miller often spends a lot of time lining up the alphabet next to the matching pictures.

Miller’s mother, Michelle Nelson, 32, said the boy had been learning to read since he was a toddler, and Miller tried to read the letters on signs, bus signs and posters on vehicles.

“People see Miller and ask if he has been in school since he was a child? They couldn’t believe that such a small child could read,” Nelson said.

The boy was taken to an early childhood education center and passed a psychological test with educational psychologist Peter Kongdon. In the report, expert Kongdon described Miller as a child with very high intelligence and through his IQ tests reached 154.

According to the Mensa High IQ community, the Mensa IQ tests are not applicable to children under 10 years of age, but in Miller’s case, an independent study was conducted as evidence of membership in the community. organization for people with high IQ scores. Mensa confirmed the test results, and in April they sent a letter saying the boy had been accepted into the institution.

Mensa IQ is a non-profit organization for people with an IQ score higher than 98% of humanity, obtained through an IQ test or through some other valid intelligence test result.

Previously, a 3-year-old prodigy from Durham county in the North East of England also joined the Mensa IQ organization for people with high IQ. The boy can speak two languages, Malaysia and English.
