Turns out this is one of the dirtiest things in public

An item that is inherently disinfecting, is so dirty that it contains a lot of dangerous bacteria.

I mean, after every use of the toilet in a public place, you should wash your hands, right? But what to do when even the soap dispenser is dirtier than the place where you just did the “big thing” ? It sounds like a joke, but it’s true.

In a study at the University of Arizona, experts collected all 132 samples of hand soap dispensers available at restaurants and public restrooms.

As a result, they found that 23% of them were so heavily contaminated that, after washing, your hands would be even… dirtier than they were.

Hand sanitizer dispensers are more contaminated than we think.

Some bacteria have been recorded as Serratia marcescens, Enterobacter aerogenes and Klebsiella pneumoniae – pathogens of many dangerous diseases such as blood infections, meningitis…

More horrifying, the researchers said that the antibacterial soap solution did not “mix” with pathogens at all. Moreover, with some species that are able to metabolize chemicals in solution, they live happily and healthily in this environment.

In fact, the fact that soap can infect bacteria has been studied for a decade, but almost no one has understood the extent and extent of it, according to microbiologist Dave Shumanker.

Antibacterial soap solution does not “mix” with pathogens at all.

The bacteria found in soap are opportunistic, uncompromising bacteria that can cause eye, skin, bladder and urinary tract infections.

They are also potentially dangerous for people with weakened immune systems, or those who have recently undergone surgery or suffered severe burns.

The researchers conducted experiments and found that, even if you pull all the soap out of the box, disinfect it with detergent, and then put the clean soap back in, “within two weeks, the soap is in the box will still have the same infection,” said Shumanker.

So if there is a “need” to be solved in public, what to do now? In fact, we just need to avoid reusable hand soap dispensers, if it’s disposable soap, just be carefree.

Bottles like this will be much better.

Or, if possible, carry a bottle of alcohol-based hand sanitizer with you and use that instead. Limit washing with water, even hot water can only remove very few bacteria on your skin.
