Emirates launches new super-luxury first class on Boeing 777-300ER

As part of the Dubai Air Show 2017. Emirates will unveil all new first class cabins and unprecedented luxury.

Emirates airline finally answered questions surrounding the new first class cabin on Boeing 777-300ER aircraft at Dubai Air Show 2017.

On the airline’s 777, there will be only 6 first-class cabins, with an area of about 3.7m 2 . This is the first time that a floor-to-ceiling sliding door system has been integrated in a first class cabin.

The new first class cabin on the 777 comes courtesy of a partnership between Boeing, chair maker Rockwell Collins, electronics Panasonic, Seattle industrial design firm Teague and design studio Jacques Pierre Jean.

It is inspired by the Mercedes-Benz S-Class luxury sedan with cream, light gray interior and specially designed overhead storage compartments.

In addition, cradling the body of passengers in this first class is a type of seat that can create a pose that simulates the feeling of “zero gravity” , inspired by NASA technology.

The initial feeling of comfort when sitting in a car seat, an airplane … easily makes people think that they are resting, but in fact it is not.

Through research programs for space projects, NASA scientists have discovered that in a zero-gravity environment, the human body tends to adopt a certain natural posture. . This is considered the most comfortable position for humans because it is shaped when we relax all the muscles.

Each first class cabin will have a binocular for passengers to enjoy the view from the plane. In the center of the cabin there will be a “virtual windows” system , which uses real-time projections to display images from outside the aircraft.

Through the video call function, passengers will be served by the crew on demand. This first class cabin also has a separate service door system, passengers can get food, drinks or small items without being disturbed.

Passengers can watch 2500 entertainment channels through the 32-inch LCD screen. Not to mention , the Murers & Wilkins Acitve Noise Canceling E1 is made exclusively for Emirates, helping passengers optimize the sound quality while enjoying the flight.

Passengers will be served meals upon request.

Regular customers will feel familiar with the personal lockers, full of snacks and drinks, tablets and other entertainment facilities.

There are also special Hydra Active pajamas that help control skin moisture, Bulgari toiletries and Bycedo fragrances.

To expand its partnership with Mercedes, Emirates’ new first-class passengers will enjoy exclusive luxury vehicle (S-class) transfers upon arrival in the United Arab Emirates.
