Da Vinci's $60 painting sold at auction for $100 million

Once purchased for , Leonardo da Vinci’s “Salvator Mundi” painting is expected to fetch 0 million at auction.

The famous painting “Salvator Mundi” (Savior) was born around the 16th century, at the same time as the work “Mona Lisa”. Christie’s New York auction house just announced on November 14 about the auction of this work.

According to the New York Times, the painting’s pre-auction exhibitions in Hong Kong, London, San Francisco and now New York have attracted great media and public attention.

Christe’s auction house said that by November 15, when the work is open for sale, the number of people who have ever admired the painting will be more than 27,000, the highest number of viewers for a work of art.
