Fortunately, the unexpected landing caused no injuries. The next day, the rescue team went to the beach and disassembled the plane’s engine and moved it to another place.

According to Zac, he and Trudi flew to Bodmin Airport to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the end of World War I. On the way back to Branscombe, the plane crashed and had to land. Zac said: “We were hovering in the sky and looking at the scenery when the plane malfunctioned. I decided to land to save my life.”

Those who witnessed the plane landing also felt shivers. Emma Salter, who lives near the beach, was taking a night walk with her husband when she saw a crowd on the beach. Emma asked a person nearby if the beach was closed, and received the answer “watch out for the plane landing”. Emma was amazed to see the plane land in the sea: “I can’t believe my eyes anymore. I thought it was only in a sci-fi movie, but it happened right here.”
